CHOCOLATE MINT BROWNIES

These were great the boys won't leave them alone! This is another recipes from that batch of garage sale find -old recipe pamphlets.
1 Cup sugar
1/2 Cup butter
4 eggs beaten
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 can Hershey's chocolate syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Mix ingredients in order given. Pour into greased 9x13 pan. Bake for 30 minutes at 350. cool

Frosting:
2 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
green food coloring to desired color

Frost cooled brownies with the above frosting. After frosted, refrigerate for a while and put on following glaze:
Glaze:
1 cup chocolate chips
6 T butter
Melt chips over boiling water adding butter to chips. Spread over frosted brownies. Refrigerate- set out to room temperature for a few minutes to cut brownies easier.
