Fairy Garden for the Studio

Fairy Garden Doors are available to purchase here~ on my etsy site SimplyHomeSweetHome

I added an indoor Fairy Garden to the Studio.. I created a few mushrooms and Fairy Garden Doors out of pottery. I experimented with some of the glazes that I came with the second hand pottery wheel that I picked up a while ago....

Vintage Wall Pockets for the Garden

These are Vintage wall pockets made out of resin.   I painted them white and lightly distressed them. They would be great used out in the garden or Perfect for a shabby chic bathroom.

Creating Living Wreaths with Sedum

I wanted to create something to hang on one of my old barn doors that I have throughout my gardens.
I filled the small pots with some sedum but will probably add to it after this takes off.

I have too many fun projects - I really need to be cleaning up my flower beds!

Making Garden Nests

The Start of Planted Garden Chairs

I have had this Vintage Chair since College.  It was a Garage sale find for $5 years ago. This chair has been painted Blue, Green, and Black with the seat covered in many different fabrics.  I was almost ready to part with it;  but then I decided to give it one more life in the Garden.  I sanded it and peeled away some of the layers of old paint and then gave it a coat of Yellow Milk Paint- Miss Mustard Seed Yellow- and a thin layer of Antique wax.  I love the rough chippy look with some of the old paint colors showing through.  I think it will take on a whole new look as it ages in the garden.  I lined the seat with wire and Moss and filled it with potting soil mix.  I can't wait to get it planted for Spring.
I think I will be making a few more of these.
