Making Granola

Granola Posted by Hello

I found this Recipe for Granola at dollarstretcher.com a few weeks ago and have made atleast 3 batches so far. It is so quick and simple to make. This recipe is easily adapted by adding or leaving out different kinds of dried fruits or nuts. I added Craisins and dried apricots to mine. It tastes great with yogurt or with milk.

2 cups Oatmeal
1/4 cup honey
1/3 cup oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
handful raisins
handful chopped dried apricots
handful Craisins
handful almonds

Mix all ingredients together. Spread evenly on a cookie sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 325 degrees until lightly browned. Do not let cool in the pan or it will stick. Transfer granola to another container to let cool. Cover and store.
