There is an abundance of butterflies in our yard this year. I have added quite a few butterfly attracting plants the past few years and now we have a yard full of busy butterflies. I planted Anise Hyssop, a plant that really attracts bees and butterflies, on both sides of a path and it is difficult to not get brushed in the face by a butterfly when walking through. I saw nearly twenty at one time this afternoon. I also saw a few Hummingbirds today, they always frequent our yard when the August Moon Hostas start blooming.
